His long and illustrious career began in Cairo where he danced in countless television shows and films, and worked with acclaimed artists like Nagwa Fouad, Hassan Affifi, Mohammed Khalil, and Warda.

Friday, June 4 Gala Show for Yousry Sharif
Local and nationally-recognized dancers set the stage for a fabulous weekend by presenting their best for our honored guest that evening, Mr. Yousry Sharif. Featured dancers include: Erika Ochoa, Blue Lotus Tribe, Donna Saida and the Oriental Festival Dancers, Zoh'ra and more! The Events page is updated with more info!

Mr. Sharif will teach a full classical routine in Cabaret style to levels ranging from Intermediate to Professional over the course of the weekend. This first class is a great introduction to Mr. Sharif's technique and method, and will cover combinations and the initial part of the choreography. Curious about Yousry but unsure about committing for the weekend? This is the class for you!

Mr. Sharif will continue teaching the full classical routine in Cabaret style to levels ranging from Intermediate to Professional, continuing to build on the morning's work. Pre-requisite: The Yousry Sharif Method 9 am workshop. It is recommended that workshop participants take both days in order to experience the full choreography, but if can only attend one day, do! Yousry is not to be missed!
1:30 - 3:30 pm Workshop
The second half of Mr. Sharif's inimitable choreography will be presented and integrated with what was learned Saturday.
